Default Help with Wiring issues

I added a 5 Inch 36W Cree LED Flood Work Lights Turn Singal Flush Mount on my bumper to use for reverse lights. Since it had extra wires for yellow lights, I thought it would be cool to use those are turn signal lights. So I wired the reverse lights and turn signal lights using the wire from the tow hitch harness using scotch locks. When I started the truck, it gave me a warning that a trailer is attached. So I press ok. After I press ok, another warning came up "Trailer Left Turn Lamps Fault. Check Lamps." I checked all lights and it all works just fine. The on/off auto start also stopped working. So I removed all the wires that I connected to the harness. Now I am still getting both warning that I have a trailer attached and Left turn Lamps Fault. The auto start is not working either. Any idea how I can get this warnings go away?

Disconnect your battery for a few minutes and reconnect. See if that clears the issue. The auto on\off will not work if trailer lights are plugged in, or in your case, if you tap into the trailer harness. You will need to tap into your tail light wiring. Not an expert, so you should look around on the forum and get some more info. Make sure you properly wrap the trailer harness, and that the original wiring is not compromised.

Alright it worked! Thank you. Yes, I wrapped all the wires individually. Thanks again.
