I have a 2016 F150 3.5 Ecoboost with a Livernois tune. I have to take it in for a warranty repair so I went out and returned the truck to stock. When I plugged in the tuner it said I have 2 DTC codes B1147 & B1148. I never had a check engine light. My question is can anyone tell me what these codes are. I've googled them and can't find an answer. Thanks for any help!!

B1147:11 Left Front Fog Lamps: Circuit Short To Ground
B1147:15 Left Front Fog Lamps: Circuit Short To Battery or Open
B1148:11 Right Front Fog Lamps: Circuit Short To Ground
B1148:15 Right Front Fog Lamps: Circuit Short To Battery or Open

 

Thanks guys. Tmcolegr I think yours is the correct one. I replaced my fog lamps with rigid lights and hooked them up to the factory switch. I would have never figured that would throw a soft code.

 

On a side note, how do you like your Livernois tune?

 

I love it. I run the 91 perf tune and it's smooth as glass. It really woke the truck up.

I also just read B1147 & B1148 after using forscan, hypertech, driving on 275/65r30s and changing the fogs to Morimotos. The Hypertech read and cleared the codes about a week ago, and hoping they don't return. Thanks for deciphering the devinchy DTC code book. I certainly couldn't confirm the code. It's a little comforting knowing it's from the fogs.
