Im kind of curious how you blasted through a set of pads (and/or rotors) in two years. Do you do severe driving or lots of towing?

I commute 100 miles/day (which is a big part of why I traded in my 09 FX4 with the 5.4 for a 2017 with the 3.5 Eco - 13.8 average mpg to 18.2 average mpg). I'm over 60k miles now.

Thanks, all, for the advice. With a good deal more penetrant and a whole lot more elbow grease, the bolts finally moved. Driver side front and rear done, on to the passenger side in the morning.

My original front pads only lasted 20,000 miles on my 2013 F150 - bought it new with 7 miles on it. I've never had that happen before.
No severe driving and no towing or hauling whatsoever up to that point.

After that, the pads have lasted 150,000 miles; truck now has 174,800 miles on it and all the pads are still good.
