i just bought a 2018 ford f-150 2.7 eco boost was on the highway going 80 the transmission upshifted then shifted back down a little wrench came up so i pulled over and it was leaking trans fluid i took it to the dealer the scanned it and said the fluid came out the vent because the trans oil was overfilled. the rest my computer and told me that it was fine and shifting perfect on the diagnostic machine. anyone know if overfilling it could of caused that or is my transmission going?

 

had it been recently serviced ? it didn't get over filled by itself.
