Help, multiple CEL after a repair.
Ok guys, I have another thread, but since this is slightly different, I made a new one.
Ok history. 20' f150 2.7.
In may I had a check engine light, Po420. Local dealer replaced my pass side cat under emissions warranty. (78,000 miles).
Fast forward to June 20th. I had a new CEL. My Ford pass app said EGR valve was stuck closed. So I cleaned all my sensors, map, mass, etc .I removed my EGR valve and cleaned it too.
Immediately a new alert on FPApp. EGR valve stuck open now.
I took it to Ford dealer this past Fri, they said it was the EGR valve, and it's NOT covered under emissions warranty ( I called Ford and they confirmed). So they ordered part and I replaced it yesterday. Upon leaving dealership after repair, I get new alerts on FPapp. I turned around and drove back. They read the codes, and now something about the exhaust gas res temp sensor has electric fault
, engine oil level incorrect,
engine control wiring issue (auto stop/start not working),
EGR flow lower than expected and greater than expected,
and most concerning is internal timing components stuck (possibly to low oil level).
This is very odd, after the fact changing the EGR lead to all of this...
Mind you I have double check all plugs are on the right sensor and they are clean and secure.
Anyone have any ideas??
I don't have the new CEL codes, but do have screenshots of FPapp alerts.
Symptoms are as follows before and after EGR valve replacement.
1. Lack of power, boost not building
2. Struggling uphill, downshift a lot.
There is no shaking/vibration or rough idle.
