Help with electrical
I recently did a swap on 2019 f150 5.0 with a gt manifold and tune shortly after i got a p0193 code fuel rail pressure sensor a circuit high ive swapped all my injectors the whole fuel rail and the sensor itself and still nothing had a talk with someone they said mostl likely i pulled on the harness and pulled back one of the pins on the frps connector i alredy tried pulling them back and also decided to get a multimeter on it first i noticed they all have ground when truck is on position and when the truck is running all but 3rd pin have ground but when i touch it to first the truck turns off can anyone help point me in the right direction i alredy ordered a new connector but wont be here for 2 weeks curious if anyone has seem something like this thank you in advamce
The code description says the PCM is seeing a high signal of + 5 v not being controlled by the sensor.
That means the voltage is to high out of normal range.
It would suggest a return ground is missing at a 3 lead sensor. +5 v., Ground and Signal lead. Gound would be missing, leaving 5 v. uncontrolled.
The PCM uses this signal to control fuel injection amounts.
If it cannot, you have the reactions, you see.
Stalling, rough idle, excessive richness etc.
Good luck.
