Today I'm gonna order some new rubber and I was gonna go with some 305's but I decided to go with 275/65/20 a 34'. I'm leveled and am using stock rims. I need some opinions on deciding between Cooper STT pro (m/t) or bfg ko2 (a/t). I off-road on my property to get to my camp. I love the aggressive look but drive mostly on pavement. Just can't decide.

I would think the BFG's would be a lot easier to live with on pavement.

I love cooper tires but I'd probably get the KO2 if it were me.

My good friend is a cooper dealer, even he said the SSTs will drive you nuts on pavement after about 10k miles. BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I have had bfg KO's for years on company trucks. Hated them, they were always rough, beat the crap out of ya unless you rotate them every 3000 miles. The KO2 I have now seem to be better. I had Coopers on a truck a few years ago, they were similar to the STT Pro, they held up great and rode really smooth!

The ride quality between the 2 are actually very similar despite both tires being made for 2 different purposes. If you want a tire that's a little more tame on the street (not by much mind you) then get the KO2. If you want a tire that will go anywhere & everywhere, then hands down get the Cooper. I'd get the Cooper if it were me.

I have stock 20s with that size in the KO2 and love them so far.

I took my Toyo 35" MT's off my truck and put on ST maxx, very happy with this so far. They are quiet and look just as aggressive. They are also 14lbs lighter per tire. $1125 OTD. They are 295-70 and are every bit of 33.5" front on the truck, the exact same as the Toyo with 10lbs less psi. The ride is not even close.
