Help with deciding on a lift and wheels
Hi. I have a white 5.0L v8 2018 F150. I have been saving up for some wheels and a lift. The stock rims are 20in on the truck. Should I get 22s? Is there much difference in ride? I also wanted to get bigger tires, on the road I see a lot of people have 35s. Would 33s be better? Could I fit 35s without a 3 inch lift? Could 2 inch work, maybe just a level? Or do I lower it and make it go zoom zoom? Any response helps, Thank you.
You won't want 22" wheels unless you go with a 35" tire to maintain some sidewall. At 22's, you'll see a bit more harsh ride on 33's.
Would 33's be better than 35's. Better at/for what? One person will say yes, one will say no but neither know you or what you are after.
Rough Country has a package for 3", but there are no others. If you intend to 'level' it by 3", you should reconsider as that is not a good idea. Next option is a 4" lift.
Can you fit 35's under a level, yes but wheel and tire combo are going to be important for proper fitment.
A 2" will work, 35's are a bit tall, 34's are about the sweet spot/largest on a 2" to 2.5" level.
Trucks shouldn't be lowered in my opinion so I can't help you with that decision.
For the record, your questions are asked about 6 times in a week. Spend an hour reading and come up with some different questions once you have ideas of what you can do and you'll get lots of help.
But the basics we can't answer from your current questions like "Are 33's better" or Should I level/left/lower.
