ggda, if I could add anything. It would be to cover anything that's powder coated (the two mounting brackets and the end links) with Fluid Film.
That powder coating only lasts a year before it wants to flake off. So far with this truck and spraying it with film it's just been a year and all is well still.

Thanks Masi1926! I flipped the bar and it fit much better, all I have to say is Doh! Others have done in depth reviews but my quick impressions in driving back and forth to work today was that it corners much flatter, even at modest speeds and fairly conservative driving. In pushing it a little, the truck is very neutral tending toward slight understeer. Before putting the sway bar on, there was a lot more understeer.
Overall, a very nice improvement. The truck should come this way from the factory.
While I was under there, I sprayed the rusty drive shaft to rear coupling with a rattle can rust converter and sprayed the entire rear end housing with satin black. Everything looked like it would rust before long. The factory coating just did not look very durable. Will see how long ithe spray can treatment lasts.

I sprayed my shiny hardware, not the swaybar, with the rubber coating spray from H-D. Helps hide the "UGLY" (in some opinions). Seeing the comments about powercoat, I might spray the bars too, before they start looking bad.

I would. I mean I live in New England and the links just shed themselves of the powder coat in one winter.
Also realized it was a bitch trying to adjust the length after a season.

Not this one though. I'm keeping it fresh. Especially with these sidewalls on the Goodyears allowing more roll that I am used to.
Never thought I'd miss those Pirelli Scorpion tires on my previous two rigs, but they did make a big difference in handling vs these Wranglers with a pretty big sidewall for a 20" rim.

Here is what my bar looks like after 3 years. Hate how it looks as well as what the rear end looks like.

Emailed Hellwig and they just sent me a whole new kit and bar. Just had to send them a pic of my current bar.

Amazing customer service and now I have a new bar to install.

Two wows! One for the rust you Northern guys have to deal with and the second for Hellwig customer service.
Love my Texas dry weather.

I'm very surprised the bar rusted like that...?
After four Northeast winters, the mounts and links rusted the first time but even then, the bar didn't corrode at all.

Glad they hooked up. Something had to be screwy with the finish on that bar.

I got my HEL7743 rear sway bar installed over the weekend and I'm absolutely pleased with the outcome. The install took my brother and I about 2 hours and we completed everything right on the garage floor.. no lifting or jacks. Torquing everything down took us a little extra time because of the odd angles we had to get in, but other than that it was very smooth.

I've been driving to and from work now for a couple days and the ride is fantastic. I opted for the middle setting and I didn't notice any decrease in ride comfort. However the cornering and turning is vastly improved and feels great now. This is definitely one of the best mods I've done so far. Just wanted to post another thumbs up review for these Hellwig sway bars... worth every penny.
