Default Heated wipers for 2018.

The order guide lists "Heated Windshield Wiper Park" for the King Ranch/Plat/Limited.
No clue what the "Park" means, but i been waiting for this....

I think wiper "Park" is the position of the wiper arms when they're not in use.

Sounds like the windshield has heating lines where the wipers rest.

Makes sense. This then tells me that there is no wire inside the blade to melt the ice/snow buildup but rather some hot air being blown at it or a "hot spot" in the windshield.

Copy that. Perhaps one wire for each blade, kinda like one of the wires in/on the glass of a passenger car's rear-window defroster?

Edit: what Filter said. Welcome, Filter.

That's probably what it is (heated elements in windshield where the wipers seat). This is a common option in cars in Europe.

I've never heard of such a thing. I guess this could be useful in a colder climate.

Some older Lincolns had a electoral heated windshield
Used plastic razor blade to removed state inspection stickers

My wifes 15 Rav4 has it.There are approx. 3 resistive wide lines where the wiper is parked.Has a switch on the dash.Takes less than a minute to free blades that are frozen to the windshield.I think dodge mini vans had it yrs ago.I think it should be standard on all new cars up here.As well as heated mirrors.
