Hi I am new here. Went from a Dodge to Ford. I Have the 2015 f150 super cab 4x4 fx4 package. I know i baught this truck faster than I should of but I only realized after that it didn't come with heated mirrors (WTF) tough that would be a standard feature but I guest not. My question is beside the ebay junk (20 $ kits) anything else out there that would not cost me an arm and a leg to upgrade the mirrors to heated? I can doo the work myself. So far I kinda like the truck but not sure that I would buy another one. Having lots of issues so far.

1. Dropped the front diff @ 500 km
2. Both driver doors rattles when hitting minimal bumbs ( had it in for repair but still the same issue )
3. Door latch sensor acting up badly (flashes like 20 times a minute while driving) ( Alarm and cabin light comes off and on while parked).
4. Exhaust manifold leeks

Besides that its got good power. I have a good faith in my dealer however I have a feeling that the door noise wont get fixed (design flaw)

Hey Zeg, sorry about some of the crap you are having to deal with!! Hopefully this thread will be helpful for your issues with the heated mirrors at least! You might need to add a switch in the truck to turn them on tho, but that isn't too big a deal. I have a couple switches and I have them to the left of the steering wheel, no one can see them, not even me since the wheel blocks them.

They all have issues period. Manufacturers I mean. Hopefully you have a good dealer that will work with you. I would be pissed about that exhaust leak. The door rattles should be a easy fix. From what I have read most people are doing fine with rattles, other then the sunroof issue. There are plenty of new owners from other makes that have had issues with there old vehicles. Its the luck of the draw sometimes. My 1997 was perfect, my 2012 has some issues.
