Default Headlight Bulb Replacement???

I need to replace the bulbs on my 2015 F150, anyone know of a easy way just to get to them without tearing half of the front end apart? I can’t believe Ford didn’t leave any room to get your hands in there, I can’t even see the back of the assembly.
Thanks.

Remove 3 screws from the inner fender well liner. I think they are 5.5mm but I used a standard socket that was close. That's it.

If you have the hard plastic liners in the wheel well, even with removing the screws it's a pain in the *$$ to reach in there and change the bulbs. I did it once, and when I needed to install my LED replacements, I actually found it easier to take apart the front end. Ridiculous how difficult Ford made it to change headlight bulbs.

I watched a youtube video last night on this where they removed the front tire then pulled the panel back and secured it out of the way with a wire tether, this gave them plenty of room to get up in there with ease.

If the liner is the soft type, that works pretty well. I was not able to free up my hard plastic liners enough to get them to bend. Which type do you have?

I'm not sure, I will find out this weekend when I take it apart. Thanks

If the fender liner is too difficult the front disassembly and headlight housing removal is not that difficult. I have been at my 2017 headlights both ways. KM

I agree.

Unfortunately I recently had to remove the front bumper on both a 2006 Subaru and a late model Audi to replace headlight bulbs. Not even an option to get at it from the fender liner approach...

I removed the wheel to get my old body into a good position. Takes 2 minutes to remove a wheel in my shop.
