Default Headlight adjustment after 2" level?

So I've noticed at night my headlights aren't lighting up the road directly in front of me to the extent that I'm used to because the front has been raised. Am I supposed to adjust the lamps or is it a case of it is what it is? Thanks in advance for educating me!

I always park 25' away from a wall on flat ground, measure the height of the center of the headlight, subtract 6" and mark that measurement on the way and adjust to that. But there was a tread last week that said according to Ford with HIDs would should subtract 2" from the headlight height and subtract 0" with halogens but personally i disagree with that.
