Default Headlight adjustment

I installed LED Hi and low beam lights. After installing I was trying to adjust the low beams. While turning the adjuster, I heard a pop sound and then the headlight stopped aiming. I turn and turn and it does nothing. It doesn’t move up or down. How can I fix this? Did I break the entire housing? Do I need a new headlight housing?

You might have broken it. You'll probably need a new housing. I don't know what year your truck is, but newer headlight assemblies are like $1,400 each from Ford. Is your truck still under warranty? If so, you could try to see if Ford will replace under warranty?

If not, an assembly from a junkyard would be cheaper. Or maybe tomorrow a large rock gets thrown up while you're driving down the road and smashes that headlight lens to pieces, for insurance purposes?

Either way, probably not what you wanted to hear, but I had a shop adjust my headlights just for this reason, as I knew how potentially fragile they were. If the shop breaks it, they can replace it.
