Default Headlamp question

Looking for a definitive here and search didn't show much. Is the only available way to get anything beyond halogen head lights on these trucks to get a Lariat or up? I am considering unloading a 2015 Tundra I have as an employees work truck and looking to getting a 15 Ford. I don't want anything beyond an XLT because..... well..... it's unnecessary cost for nothing. At least on the 13 and 14's the HID's were optional in the XLT trim level. So now if you buy an XLT are just stuck with the halogen lights? The Ford brochures and the website don't seem to show much lol. Thanks!

Well I apologize as I jumped the gun.

Okay searched some more and found 502A lariat and up is the only way for the LED lamps. Well that's just dumb really. I would much rather have the option for reasonable headlamps on an XLT trim level than let's say.... navigation or a sunroof....... Lol. It's nice being able to see at night.. and where we work in the winter there is plenty of darkness in the bush.

It does suck it's not a standalone option but Raptor Retrofit offers a HID headlamp for ~$1300 and oem LED with plug and play adapters for ~$1600. A bit expensive but at least there's a plug and play option. I'll probably end up with the LEDs in the future.

Yeah it's pretty dumb. I retro'd the HID's on my XLT but to get what I want I would probably order a truck and thus was hoping I could avoid more retrofitting lol. Something useful versus the boatloads of useless options like the aforementioned sunroof..... Maybe in the 2016 and up they will trickle down the headlight options. Oh well.

Ford should trickle them down lines in a year or two. None of the current configurations are exactly what I want so I can wait......
