Head unit advise

Default Head unit advise

Is there a better head unit for my 13 FX sony unit , after changing out the speakers and adding a sound processor and amp seems like something is holding it back curious to know who make a head unit that will do everything my stock factory does thanks

Probably should've asked this in the 09-14 section

But to try and answer your question, I don't think there's an aftermarket head unit that will do the exact things your OEM touchscreen will do. It may do different/better things and leave out others. I replaced the non-touchscreen in my '13 with a pioneer touchscreen and loved it. It took my speakers to another level as well. Much clearer

Here's the one I had off of
Amazon Amazon

Simple and perfect for what I was looking for. Doesn't have nav, and that's about all it was missing in my mind. I chose at the time to not retain sync, and I really didn't miss it. But I did lose the phone button and voice button on my steering wheel. Again, that was on my '13

Gonna change out the stereo on my 17's 4.2in screen and either upgrade to the OEM 8in or find a HU that has a good working version of Android Auto. Will most likely be a Pioneer as well as I've had great experience with their products over the years.
