I've got an '18 F150 Sport and haven't been able to get HD Radio. It's got full Nav, Satellite radio, WiFi, etc. But no HD Radio? My wife's '17 Ford Edge has HD Radio in it. Everything about the displays in the two vehicles looks the same except HD Radio doesn't show up on the F150. Am I missing something?

subb'd i'm also curious. I went from a 2017 F250 Lariat with Sony stereo to a 2018 F150 XLT non premium stereo and I also do not have HD radio. I would have assumed it had it but I cannot get it to load or find a setting anywhere. My guess is HD radio is not available in non premium stereos. Hoping someone else can chime in on this and confirm.

That is correct, you have to have the "Premium" unit or change out the radio (Buy one from ebay) and use forscan to enable HD Radio.

im about 99.82% sure that there is a setting in the infotainment center where HD radio can be turned on and off. Look around in the settings and Im pretty sure there is a place to activate it.

I was almost certain that if you have Nav (which means you have the 8 inch screen) you should also have the HD radio...

You will only have HD radio in a Lariat with 502A package, King Ranch or Platinum.

HD Radio and Sirius are determined by the radio/cd player module. Sync 3, 8' screen, Nav are part of the APIM.

It's only available on 502a and above trucks unless you find the radio from one, swap it and enable it with forscan.

Not true, I have a 2017 Lariat with Nav and I don't have HD Radio because it's 501a (IE no sony).

My 2016 501A had HD Radio, with no swapping done.

Don't HD radio need additional Hardware?
Do you have any specific ForScan Code that need to enable to allow HD Radio? I was looking at ACM 727-01-01 code and it has setting for x*xx xxxx xxxx however I am not sure if I want to make this changes as I don't understand the setting option as it talked about DAB tuner (what is DAB?), SWC Audio (what is SWC)?, CAN-SWC (What is CAN?) and CGEA version (what is CGEA)?
Anyone can help to advise what does this abbreviation mean?
