Hard shift when cold
2018 F150 XLT 2.7 10 speed. This is my very first effort to investigate this concern. I have noticed in the mornings right when I am starting to drive and the truck is cold shifting from 1 to 2 or possibly 2 to 3, it will shift noticeably hard at slow speeds. Anything above that is normal and after the truck has warmed up, I don't get the same thing. I'm not sure how long it has done this because the driving conditions have changed. Up until about three weeks ago, the truck was always started and driven off road on somewhat uneven ground and I don't recall this symptom. Now it is a regular smooth paved road and I do. Could this be something to do with adaptive driving or what? Any ideas on the first things to consider?
