Hanooks & Snow?
With my 03....I currently have Hankook's on it right now, a variation of the Hankooks that are on the 15+. The factory General's it came with handled the fluffy dry stuff a bit better, enough to be noticeable. Heavier wetter snow is about the same. Puddles/wet weather, the Hankooks are def better as they still track straight when hitting standing water with minimal hydroplaning where as the generals I always had to keep a really firm grip on the wheel and fight the wheels hitting the water. This is on a 2wd with open diferential thus any tire shortcomings being VERY noticeable in snow.
This about sums it up...
If I were in a remote area, and driving in a lot of snow, I would not trust them. If you're just doing regular city driving in moderate conditions, you'll be fine.
When it gets a little messy around here, I just switch to 4wd and the truck performs very well.
Most importantly, SLOW DOWN!!

Im in the desert west of Phoenix don't get a lot of snow but on a recent trip to Utah several hundred miles in a major storm un plowed roads, over several hills I never slipped a wheel. In snow and ice its not the tread depth but the "Sipeing" That count ant the Hancock's really surprised me.
