Default HANDS ON! the steering wheel

I just have to say that this alert that keeps popping up on the dash about putting both hands on the wheel/ take a break has to go. It happens all the time even with both my hands on the wheel. Apparently ford thinks having steady hands is not possible and you need to drive like your in the movies rocking the wheel back and forth all the day long.

Between the double honk and this alert I am starting to get sick of these safety features.

Anyone else have this problem? #firstworldproblems

Can this be turned off?

Yeah comes up pretty often. It's really annoying when it wakes me up

You probably already know but you don't have to hit OK to clear the message you can just give the wheel a little nudge.

Turn off lane assist features and messages will be disabled.

That sounds annoying... I'm glad that my lowly XL doesn't yell at me
