Default Halogen to LED

I bought a set of oem 2015 led headlights and ballast from a dealership, Also bought morimoto "plug and play" conversion harness with resistors and control. I installed the led housings and harnesses and am having the following problems.

Key on motor not running:
Headlights work fine. Drls are amber on both sides. Running lights also function, but I have no tail light.
Turn signals function properly, Front and rear both sides.
Hyper flash at dash with turn signals on.

WIth the truck running:
Both front headlights come on ,
driver side drl works properly,
passenger side drl does not come on at all.
Tail light drls are on, but no tail lights.
I am going to run FORscan and see what codes are triggered. Guess i wilt put the halogens back in and contact morimoto Monday. I know they have two seperate harnesses for the 2016 models. Shouldn't apply to my 2015. I contacted them as both harnesses have "oem led left" printed on the packaging. I was told the harnesses for the 2015 are interchangeable.
Any help from the tech gurus out there would be helpful.

Since you have FORScan, your best bet would be to return the morimoto pnp harness & get one from @Ryan B. He makes a harness that plugs into your halogen sockets just like Morimoto does, but his works flawlessly. see this thread if you haven't already - https://www.f150forum.com/f118/halog...an-way-394074/

Thanks for the reply!
I had seen that thread and did scan over it. I read where he had ran the harness through the fire wall and connected directly through the module. The job looked more like what I wanted to do. I will certainly reread the thread thoroughly. My scan revealed several shorts to ground. The harness is no doubt flawed. Certainly not plug and play.

You can go without adding the extra wires thru the firewall, but you will lose the DRL function

The issues with the moroimoto harnesses aren’t new. What’s odd in your case is that they affected your taillights too, that’s a new one. If you want to send me a pm with contact info I can try help you troubleshoot it.

I

I was mistaken regarding my tail lights not functioning properly. They were/are working fine. I didn't realize only the cbar part of the tails illuminates with the heads on. I really appreciate the offer to help. I removed the led heads and reinstalled the halogens for now. I think I will follow firerunners advise and buy the harness you make and change the bcm values.
