There's a separate button up next to the driver's map light that turns all of them on at once.

No vanity light.
No light under the hood.
Seat belt buckle scratches the pillars.

Overall...I love this truck.
the no light under the hood really blows me away. You brag about light up the tailgate and spot lights on your mirrors but no light under the hood? Really Ford ?

2016 2.7 with 1000 miles:

- Door rattle/shake/loose (dealer has tried to fix a few times)
- Frozen latch on me once
- Mine won't start when it's colder than 10 degF (been at the dealer for a week now)
- Water pools up on the front of the hood when driving in rain/wet roads then releases it all onto the windshield when it builds up enough.

Try pressing and holding the dimmer switch on the left side of its toggle, al least that's how it works on my 2014. Press and hold other side of toggle to turn inside lights off. The 2016 may have a different button though, not sure.

After reading most of these posts, I'm glad I kept my 2014, sorry.

My only gripe, No light under the hood on a $50,xxx dollar truck. Ford c'mon.

Hood air deflector works well to reroute airflow.

I didnt bother posting before but I had the exact same thought. None of my previous trucks have had a light under the hood and I cannot understand the need personally. I carry a headlamp in the truck for emergencies.

Maybe check fluid levels?

Maybe refill the window washer reservoir when it runs empty and salt spray/road grime is getting on your windshield, making it hard to see, and it happens to be after sundown?

LOL....maybe, maybe..... Would you REALLY do this in the dark somewhere?

I think you're weird, dude! (just joking with you...having some fun!)

I don't know why, but an under-hood light just struck me as funny.... I may be the weird one!

Now you've got me thinking....I bet, if you fold the mirrors forward, and have the mirror spots, they would shine in under the hood pretty good. I'll have to try that tomorrow. I love my mirror spots!
