2016 xlt grille was replaced in may 2017, replacement grille doing the same
anyone have this issue

Was it replaced under warranty? Shouldnt be bubbling like that, no sir. Are you using any type of corrosive cleaners perhaps?

 

The chrome is peeling away from the plastic, no harsh chemicals used, the first one was warranted and just a call from the dealer and they approved the second grille to be replaced under warranty
My truck only has 9200 miles on it and it will now have its 3rd grille

 

So had my 3rd grille installed in may of 2018, and now in Feb 19 the chrome is already peeling away from grille, Ford has approved another replacement. That will 4 different grilles on my truck with only 15000 miles on it.
Ford claimed they know there is an issue, and is claiming it is the weather climate that may have something to do with it. I requested to put in a sport grille in its replacement and got shut down by ford, I guess every 6-8 months i will be having a grille replaced from Ford being replacement part have a 12 month/12k mile warranty
