Has anyone made a harness/connector to hook up the grill lights into the parking light circuit? I just spliced mine, but would like a little better connection. I'm figuring it's only a matter of time before I get water in the splice.

Hello all, I've had my grill and letters in my storage for over a year and am now finally getting around to installing it. I have a quick quick, are the F and R letters suppose to be seating flush or do they have about 1/8 inch gap? I would assume its suppose to be flush. Thank you for your help and clarification in advance.
