You don't have to redo tape over it all the time . Mine have been on for sometime (over winter) and never moved a bit. One and done hence why I gave the rest of mine away.

I wrapped my who light prior to me installing the grill. Haven't had a issue either a forum member sent me some a while back.

Or just go with GalaxyMoto. The 1" shorter height is more than made up for with the awesome amber lights, no tape needed.

I got behind on this thread and then I gave up when I heard the worst about the letters. Now I see it looks like I can get the letters from raptor grilles, but are they for the Paramount grille? I looked at what I think is the paramount website but they don't necessarily say they have '17, only up to '16. And when I click on that, the pic shows a link that seems to have the DODD letters with nothing behind them, nothing to hook up the new letters to. In fact, based on the pics of the front, it looks like it's all one piece of plastic. If it is the Paramount grille, can someone show a pic of the back side of the grille to get an idea of how these new letters would connect. Just want to get everything lined up before I pull the trigger.
Thanks,
Mike Todd

What do you guys think of this grill on ebay? Branded as UAD seller is Uniqueautodepot
I know its about $150 more but its done. Do you guys think this is just a finished GM or paramount grille?

I'm sure it's just a paramount or pro-z grille. You can get the pro-z grille from autoanything right now for $158 with a 20% off code and the letters for $100 from raptorgrilles.com. Why spend $250 more for the same thing.

My concern is fit and finish. I cant stand something that looks half azzed. It will end up coming back off. I am very picky and worried i will get something I cant live with.

Pro Z grille off auto anything.com turned out great and fits like a glove. Got the F & R letters from 3dogs guy on Ebay... sounds like he recently stopped selling them though.

If you want to over pay for the same thing, go for it. Pro Z grille (which is Paramount) is 150ish from AutoAnything currently with discount codes, at most 200ish from most vendors. 100 for the letters from the new supplier puts you at 250ish-300. GM grille seems to be around 299 to 350, though may be cheaper elsewhere.

Really the difference in GM or Paramount is whether you like the larger trim piece on the bottom or not. I personally think the Paramount style looks better on the stock bumper, I do really like the GM grille with their bumper much better than the Paramount with their bumper. So it just depends what you want as far as what brand.
