Grill Options Raptor Style Grill
#2091
Maybe this will help for folks with the Paramount style grilles, I marked the needed cuts, then go to the next step. For the notch in the R, mark the "D" while it's mounted, the mounting plate has the cut out for the triangle notch already. Obviously make sure the lower line on the F and R match up before you glue/epoxy them.
I haven't done it yet, but when I get a chance this is my plan. If I can get a spare set of D's I might try my hand at making a mold and injection molding my own for a solid/non-epoxied part. But I've never done that before either so who knows if it's a viable option.
*EDIT*
Anyone with any insight on the best bonding agent to use? I have bad luck with glues and plastics :p I plan on using the scrap to fill the voids left from moving the lines, then guessing I'll need to sand and paint everything.

I got a set of double D's for ya ()() lol serious though I have my left overs from my grill still if you want them shoot me a PM and I can ship them to you.
Also if you guys want I can take measurements of the correct F and R kindof like trace them so you know where to put the pieces

Measurements wouldn't hurt, though measuring is also something I'm not the greatest at. But, I can't just sit back and wait for someone to manufacture the letters or just complain about the situation when it seems pretty straight forward on how to get what I want. Worst case I'll pay a professional to do it for me, but I have to give it a go on my own first

Figures as soon as I buy a truck that the letters would no longer be available.
If anyone has modded their own DODD grille to say FORD, I would love to see your work and would love to see a "how-to" thread on it.

search the forum I remember seeing so posts of people doing their own. You can also look on the back of the letter attached to the grill to see where to make the cuts. I was lucky enough to get one of the last sets of letters

Is that on the back of paramount or galaxy moto grilles?
