Default Got rid of the "fake" engine noise

Now, I'm torn. I will definitely be adding the intake and exhaust on the Eco 3.5. I didn't like the noise in the cab because it was fake. I'd rather have the real deal.

Sounds like a fart can, blah blah...

But which sounds best? I'm looking at the either the Corsa, Borla S or Borla ATAK. They are all close in cost, so that is moot. I'm thinking the ATAK is the most aggressive. Anybody on here have them? I've searched around, but most of the sound clips on youtube are old or "sponsored." Would rather get a "real world" opinion.

Knock yourself out lol. They have plenty of great sound clips of inside and outside the cab.

I would listen to them with headphones or nice speakers.

I had my fake noise turned off and am much happier. My last truck had a great exhaust note......I’m enjoying the quietness right now. Maybe I’ll get something with a bark for my next one. I’ve always had V8’s and an aftermarket exhaust...so this is a good change for now.

I'll admit this is one Ecoboost I could tolerate the way it sounds. Seriously don't be surprised if your not happy with any muffler...I vote leave it stock.

Ugghhh...starting to think you're right. I WILL be doing the intake though. I've always loved the sound of forced induction.

Just curious - as an XLT owner is it possible to turn this ON with Forscan? Or do you need the Lariat Sony APIM? I’ve never heard it and would be interested with trying it on.

I wouldn't mind trying it too. If I can't make it sound better outside I may as well try to make it sound better inside for me.
