Got my brother into an F150 yesterday
My brother told me he was looking for a newer truck (he has a 2001 Ram 2500 Cummins that is really rusty and has been driving a beat up Buick for a couple years) so I was helping him shop around. Found an absolute gem of a truck at a local dealership- it's a 2017 XLT 5.0 crew cab 6.5' bed, blue jeans metallic, and it is absolutely loaded. Has 302A package (so nav, sliding rear window, heated seats, etc) plus a 36 gallon tank, Line-X, remote start, tailgate step, 20" PVD wheels, with 29K on it, and they were asking $29800 for it which IMO is a steal! I feel pretty good being able to hook him up with that truck and I think it will serve him well for years. Will have to get pics of our trucks together sometime.

He told me they were really not willing to negotiate on price (we bought from this dealership once- they don't negotiate, but their pricing is better than most other dealerships in the area). They originally had the truck for $31K but apparently took another $1300 off for their July 4th sale. He also said they offered him a 10 year, 100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper extended warranty and he picked that up too- altogether with that and taxes he said he was just a little over that original $31K asking price so he seemed happy with the deal. I'm honestly a little bit jealous, although it's a chrome package truck which I wasn't really looking for it has all the bells and whistles, including a few I kinda wish I had (like the tailgate step and LED box lights). I'm real happy for him though.
