Well went out today and couldn't open up my back door(supercab).. went to the local ford dealership and they couldn't get it open.. It's going in next Monday so they can try to get it open somehow.. fun stuff

That's a bummer, but at least they can't say they couldn't replicate the problem or it's supposed to be that way. Probably be a pretty quick fix. Better than a drivetrain issue.

According to lots of guys it's the cold weather and freezing locks! I suppose yours just doesn't work, won't open, that's different! LOL

If it's really cold weather and freezing locks on the rest, do you think Ford realizes people drive their trucks in the Winter? And they need to lock, and unlock their doors and tailgate!

The top latch works.. it's the bottom one that has a strong hold on.. it's done it once before when it got cold..
