Default Gears the same as previous gen?

Have a 15 platinum on order that is getting a 6" lift and 35" tires installed. Order max tow so I'm getting the 3.55. But I am thinking I would like to run 4.10. Anyone know what diff is in this truck and if I can run a gear set out of a raptor or something? Then I would just order the parts and get the dealer to install when the truck gets here. Maybe I should just stick to a 3.73 then I can use a 2015 gear set. Also I wonder if they can reprogram the computer for the 4.10? Most likely can for the 3.73 because it was an option.

Which ratio to run is kind of a personal choice. There are many posts and lots of opinions about which is best for any given set-up. I don't think there is a definitive answer. If you do change gears, both 3.73 and 4.10 factory gears will fit in you truck. The rear differentials haven't changed. Ford has just changed the options they have made available. Changing gears is kind of expensive, but you don't sound like that is an issue. I don't know if you dealer will change them for you or how they would handle the warranty if you wanted 4.10's, but they could do it. Reprogramming for a difference ratio is no problem. If you decide you want to make the change, and your dealer doesn't want to, there are non Ford shops that can.

Ya not too concerned about the cost. 4.10 is gonna keep my RPM pretty close to same as stock so im probably gonna go that route. Just want to make sure if i order 4.10 that fit 09-14 they will still fit the 15.

I'm pretty sure they are the same, but I'm not 100%
