Default Gears, Engine, Cab, & MPG

Let's try and keep this thread simple to see if we can spot any kind of pattern. Please post your gears, engine, and cab size, then your average mpg.

I'll commit to summarizing the data after a couple weeks of good postings to see if we can see any measurable patterns. Along with others, I'm torn between lower gears and MPGs.

Are you considering lifts and tires as well? What about tunes and other mods? Or is the information you're seeking just for stock trucks?

3.31:1 gears
2.7L EB
SCrew
Lifetime 3600 miles: 21.0MPG*.**

*Mix of 87eco/93 perf tune, 2.5"/2.25" lift, 34" AT tires
** A good portion of my miles is highway. I don't do a lot of city stop and go traffic. Hardly any.

Let's consider everything. But I agree, mention of you have larger tires. I don't think a lift affects it that much; it's usual the heavier tires that follow a lift. On a side note, 21 mpg is great with tires and a lift and 3.31 gears.
