Gears
My 2015 came with 3.15 gears in the rear end, the truck I actually test drove came with 3.55 I think and I enjoyed the ride. The truck I test drove did not have the other options I wanted, so the dealer found this truck in TX. Unfortunately I did not catch the different gears until after it was delivered to the house. My wife accepted the truck as I'm deployed in the military.
Long story short I don't think I'm going to be satisfied with the 3.15 gears. Which gears would be the best option for the 2015 3.5 EC, 2WD XLT?

Thought there was only 3.31 / 3.55 / 3.73 gear ratios but turns out if you have 2WD you only have either 3.15 / 3.55.
The 3.73 would be great with your 3.5 EB, might drink a little more gas though but it sure would be quick.
Bad news is cost, don't think many would spend the 1500 - 2000 for the difference.

I'd say drive it awhile when you get back, maybe take a few test drives to compare, and make a solid decision. Agree it will be quicker with the 3.73 but it might cost 1-2mpg.
