Gear indicator graphic dissappeared from readout..
....All of a sudden, I've noticed that the graphic that shows what gear I'm in that appears in my dash screen has dissappeared. Has anyone else had this problem? My truck is a 2015.

Lol! I was driving just last week and the gear graphic suddenly appeared. I'd never seen it before and then I was questioning myself on whether it was always there and I just didn't notice! I thought I accidentally put it in tow mode or something. Had to read manual to even know what I did to turn it on! These trucks have so many gadgets!

It's pretty easy to bump the manual shift buttons that turn the gear indicator on/off.

Curious on those who put it in M rather than standard Drive:
Does it still shift at the same points as usual if you accidentally put it in the SelectShift mode? I was under the assumption it would try to hold the gears longer waiting for you to shift... For example.

I can't answer that but I know I try and shift to 6th manually to lower the rpm's and it stays in 5th almost every time I try.

It will stay in the gear you're in if you hit it will moving but if you come to a stop it will stay in 1st gear until you change to 2nd.

Interesting, I have the column shifter with the Tiny +/- Buttons on it. I can't even imagine trying to drive it in the SelectShift mode with this configuration.
Maybe the console shifter feels more natural for this.

I will use it to down shift coming off the highway or something. The console shift works well for me. I was wondering how the column shift guys did it.
