Default Gear indicator dash lights

Hello All,

I am assuming that this is yet another glitch. My gear indicator lights in my dash only work 50% of the time. They should work as soon as the truck goes into "D". Have any of your experienced this glitch too?

Push the gear up / down switch on the shifter when you're in drive. You're probably accidentally pushing it all the way down and that turns off the display. Have to push up once to get it to display.

Are you referring to the button closest to the driver? The one used for tiptronic mode?

I had the same issue. As it turns out and as mentioned above, you're hitting the "+" on the gear shifter which turns it off/on.

Gotcha, I didn't realize that the "+" is so sensitive. I will try to turn it on...

Thanks gents!

It worked, I was unintentionally turning off the lights when I put the truck in reverse.
