I heard this transmission is now made out of aluminum, what about the transfer case?

However, I wouldn't say mine is a particular RPM range, simply just a rough feel for such a nice truck.

From what I can recall from this and the other pedal vibes thread, I have only seen owners of 4WD trucks posting. If this is the case, it should make narrowing down the problem MUCH easier. Any way we can get a poll/vote started to see if the issue is on a 2wd or 4wd?

I really want to keep this truck for years to come, but I really can't see keeping it with this problem. I'm starting to get worried that if I decide to sell it next year, I may have a hard time if someone notices the vibrating pedal in a test drive.

Take note FORD, this is UNACCEPTABLE. I have 4 vehicles right now...All are Fords and I love them. However, unless this problem is fixed, I will never purchase another.
Hi DontCome2MyHouse, Bigt8600, Thumper38, and roots8848,

I recommend taking your rigs to your dealerships for a look. Shoot me a PM with your full name, best contact number, VIN, current mileage, and dealership information; I'll loop in your regional customer service managers to lend a hand with the vibration in those pedals.

Yes- I had ours in within the first 1,000 miles. Dealer road tested and told me the tire balance is good. Yah, well that's not what my concern was so thanks for nothing. I've been holding out hope that someone will come up with something. The 13 I drive at work doesn't have the issue and if I had known we'd be stuck with this annoyance I wouldn't have traded our personally owned 13 which had no issues.

Mine is going in next Thursday for the second time. The first time, the dealer did the transmission TSB, it does shift better but did nothing for the vibration.

Hi KLS and Thumper38,

Please shoot me a PM with your full name, best contact number, VIN, most recent mileage, and dealership information; I'll enlist the aid of your regional customer service manager for that vibration.

Issue i have doesnt go away when shifting to neutral rolling to a stop from 45. Which makes me think tires, but lots have had that checked. I think the vibes through steering and gas pedal are from the same sorce.
Transfer case or steering geometry cause steering and gas pedal vibes
Rear springs causing axle warp which leads to the surging or whats being described as the shudder. Thats my guess. If you have both, you can rest assured, you have an authentic 2015 f150. Haha

Has anyone found the actual cause of the gas pedal "buzz" when in 4WD yet? I really don't want to waste my time going to the dealer only for them to say it's " a normal characteristic of the truck". I would like to go to them saying LOOK HERE!

My new truck has developed this "buzzing" pedal as well. Mine does it at any speed above 20 and I can feel every little imperfection in the road as well as the rpm changes in the engine. I try to use cruise control so I dont have to feel the pedal but I also have a slight amount in the steering wheel. I really think it is in the firewall transmitting the vibration. I dont want to waste my time at a dealer for them to tell me this is normal. I am starting to doubt the QC on this truck more and more. I have a fleet order scheduled for next month and really am unsure this is the correct purchase with this problem (among others). Very annoying when you drive 250 miles a day easily.

I also am having vibration issues in the pedals, floorboard, and steering wheel, but I can't seem to narrow it down any trends to see exactly what situations are the ones that are causing it.

I have something loose underneath the carriage. When I drive over bumps, gravel, hard ground, something on the underside is vibrating, and sometimes it sounds like something is on the brink of falling off. This and the vibrations started 2 weeks ago, after the odometer rolled 200 miles.

Chad,

Please expect a PM from me as well. I have an appointment at the dealer next Monday, but at this point, I can't wait until then. Which this, the transmission shifting oddly, and SYNC no longer working, I have to take it in to the dealer tomorrow morning.
