Here is a way that might make this easier for you to put that piece back in, requires some work but it worth it:

Remove the front glass. Drop the track just slightly, as if you're going to retract the front glass. Just so the backs of the guide arms drop down.

Loosen the rear glass...remove the 6 screws.

Slide it forward as far as you can get it. Dropping the track like I described should help it go a little farther

Then you should be able to stand up in the back of the cab with your seats folded up, and get right to that bar, easily.

Just checked, it wasn't the magnets, but still sagging even after popped the metal bar in.

So, comparing shapes from the video and by just touching the little tabs, I think that the driver's side one is partially broken. Fortunately as a temp remedy, I was able to pop the metal bar back in, but It might pop out again soon. But then again, it's still sagging from the headliner as if the roller pulls up the sunshade only in the middle section with too much tension.

Oh well, I'll just try to ignore it for now.

are the magnets still actually attached to the headliner? Sometimes they pop out of the little mounting bosses on the headliner and stay stuck to the track and then they kind of space the headliner down when it pops back up.

The magnets are all attached. It's more like the sunshade gets pulled up by the roller with too much tension, but only in the middle.

Just curios, how were you able to get shade bar without dropping the track as mentioned above? Bare minimum you would have to take C and B pillars off, coat hangers off, and partially drop the rear half of the headliner. Then I don't know if you would have access to those tabs? I assume you didn't remove the windshield or drop the the track?

I would like to know if there's a short cut just in case it happens to me or others I know.

That doesn't really make any sense if the metal bar is solidly in place. The tension won't affect where the shade sits at all if that bar is there.

And it can't have too much tension in just the middle, either. I'd love to see that in person to see what's going on

I don't know how he did it, but I posted a way to do it without touching the track or the headliner a few posts back.

I opened/retracted the sunshade all the way, grabbed the metal bar with two hands, and pushed/turned it, then used a 45 degree nose plier to snap into the tab.
Since I couldn't see what I was doing, I watched the video to get a sense and just tried it. Looks like it's in place now but I can't tell if it is completely snapped in.
Then, the initialization process followed, but the middle section still got pulled up somehow and I could feel the bar bent/curved by tension. Wish I could make more sense.
BTW, this is the bar we are talking about, right?

Why just in the middle section, I really have no idea. The bar is in place, but it is little curved by the shade pulling up.
Can it be caused by the roller retracting tension, or am I still not making any sense?
Oh, I must mention that when the shade is fully open/retracted, it looks just fine. This happens only when it is fully closed as seen in below pics.

Open position below.
