Default Frustrated!!!

2015 ford f150 platinum owner 54k miles with that power steering problem epas....now my local ford dealership wants to charge me $2k to fix it.....now I am stuck with no vehicle and FORD has not given me options to help out other than by giving me a case number

What power steering problem? You are out of warranty. Ford and every other manufacturer clearly provides warranty information, typically 3 years/36,000 miles (whichever comes first, which in your case might be both but is at least miles).

If there is a TSB or recall for an issue, they will cover outside of warranty, but that's about it.

They likely offered you the option of an extended warranty when you bought it, as these things can happen. Mechanical parts break.

Sorry for your expense, but I am not seeing any avenue where Ford is the one to foot the bill on this, at least based on the incredibly small amount of information provided.

Does that not fall under the powertrain warranty? I would think that should....but ???

Not covered under powertrain....due to this Electric Assist Power Steering failure

well ford motors just give me a case number...........not much options by them might as well park it

Your option is to suck it up and get it fixed. Either pay somebody or wrench it yourself. Are you sure you're not trolling, you're first posts on here is about Ford not covering an out of warranty claim. Vehicles break, get over it.
