I never got the first tsb but I got the second one with the rain caps, lock rods and had the new degsined lower rear super cab latches last month and have had no issues since for what it worth. Fingers crossed it's fixed now. Washed at least once a week and she lives out side in the cold

Took it in yesterday. Dealer is aware of the problem, guess they've had other owners with the issue. Parts have been ordered and will arrive sometime in February. Meanwhile, they realigned the passenger door to fit more flush and did an excellent job.

we only had the truck with us for 6 weeks.. and we now in the loaner (Edge) for 3 weeks.. I start forgetting how the interior of the truck looks.. which is sad.. and when every time we have 3 adults and 2 babies with car seat in that Edge, I start to hate Ford and wish we bought something else.

and while the rental company only have a Ford Explorer they could upgrade us to, that is out for long term rental and won't be available till Mid-End of February. Well.. who knows if we still need a loaner by that time?

I will be making sure that they have the parts before I bring the truck back to them on Thursday. I've already asked them to check since I had to call them (and drop the truck off) this morning due to the array of warnings I got on the way in to work this morning.

That said, I won't really ever know if the new 'fix' works unless the problem never happens again. It's only happened twice in 13 months as it is (which is two times too many if you ask me)

TSB 16-0155 has been performed by the dealer and the problem is NOT SOLVED. First cold morning following the TSB job, front doors won't unlatch with FOB or door switch (same as before). Need the physical key to enter the driver door (the only one with physical key barrel) and have to crawl to access all other doors. I can't accept this for a 60K$ truck and the dealer stated that they have no clue beyond the Ford TSB. The dealer offers me to take the truck back and do some trial and errors attempts with grease and lubricant. The dealer do not even plan to call Ford for further investigation/solutions. So I will do. I'll call Ford and will post the result in this post to let you know.

My 2 cents: It appears to me that the latch/power actuator may have weak protection to water, that's why the TSB inclusdes new rain shield. However, I noticed that A LOT of water enters those doors ! Water drain holes at the very bottom ejects a lot of water after a wash (more than usual) and also notice A LOT of water drops everywhere inside the door ( I removed one panel to take a look). It seems to me that door/window seal performance may be a factor.
I talked to Ford Canada. They opened a file and a manager will call me back in 48 hours. We'll see. I'll post the follow-up in this post.

In the meantime, I talked to the dealer to make sure they did blow compressed air to dry door lock actuators before put it back in. It is specified in the TSB, but wonder if they follow that procedure. Won't solved anything to add a rain shield if actuator is already flooded. I asked to check with the tech if he did. 50% chance to get an answer I guess (tech are always touchy with questions about their jobs).

This issue applies to 2015-2017 F150. Hope you have better luck than most of us, because new parts from the TSB did not solve the problem.

For canadian customers having this issue: I have been referred to this organisation, which is financed by auto manufacturers and government...

Very interresting. In order to be elligible, you have first to let the dealer/manufacturer all the margin to fix the issue (ongoing process). According to their statistics, some F150 have been bought back by Ford in 2015 !

The regional rep is calling me within 48 hours. My truck has been in 4 times for the doors the first time was for the rain shields I'm guessing, second time was to fix the door in the back, third was to fix the door again as it didn't work, and lastly the same door isn't opening from the inside again. I want compensation... has anybody else recieveved anything? What can I ask for? My sync 3 audio still keeps turning off and won't turn on until I leave the truck turned off for an hour... such a pita

Just got an update from my Dealer and Ford. Dealer said parts will be in by the end of January. Ford has also granted my persistent request for an ESP, hopefully the paperwork will be here this week or next.
