Default Frozen button on door passcode pad

Hi guys. Has anyone experienced a frozen button on the door keypad? After I washed my 2015 last time, it got cold a few days later. Must have gotten some water in behind the keypad somehow, now the 9 is frozen. Worse case, I'll change my passcode to not include that number, but wondering how this happens and how to fix it? Thanks!

Perhaps use a hair dryer on it for awhile until it thaws and dries up any moisture?

I had issues with the buttons on my keypad acting up last winter, it was replaced under warranty.
