Front underside splash guard?
I have a 2018 F150, but just got it new off lot. I saw something hanging down on the underside and it was the plastic with velvet splash guard ...not the big one but a smaller one that is at or in front of front wheels. I'm not speaking of the front air dam. This thing appears to not be attached at the outside edges, only the center and the plastic is flimsy and obviously bangs around on the underside, especially at the outside edges.. I looked around for holes (for push pins) or signs of a clip. Nothing obvious to attach it. On the passenger side I was able to use a clip to support the outside edge-but there is no opportunity to do this on left side. It is the piece just to rear of the metal skid guard...but not the larger plastic splash guard. Sorry if I posted same topic but I think all other similar threads are about the bigger sash guard. I never ran over anything nor was it heavy snow that caused the thing to drop. Any comments or ideas welcome. I'm sure one will be to take it off... ready...go! I am interested in knowing more about this part and how it attaches or if others have this issue. Ford dealer parts Department seemed stumped this morning. It does not have the thumb screws so maybe new design for 2018?
