Default front skirt

after a 2.5" level and putting on bigger tyres i relized that the front skirt thing (i duno what it's called) should be removed to make the truck look even better,
what do you guys think?
how do i remove it?
will anything be affected if i do decide to remove it?

The only realistic reason is pure and simple looks. Thats all it boils down too. There is a large thread here with many pictures. I like the looks better without it but I have a front hitch so I left mine because it makes the hitch less noticeable.

Took mine off when I put my snow tires on. 5 minute job. I will probably put it back on for the summer, although not sure, I like the looks better without it.

i agree it does look better without it, especially if you have big beefy tires and a 2.5 level on the front like mine,

only reason im hesitating on removing them is that they may effect the drive quality on the highway at high speeds.

I took mine off after adding the RC 4" suspension lift. I am also planning on painting the RC cross brace red.

I notice no difference at highway speeds. If you do not like it off, it is a 5 minute job to put it back on. Really I think there are like 10 hex head screws holding it on, easy off easy on.

why is it in place to begin with does anyone know? Does it help with wind resistance going underneath, maybe helping fuel economy?
