Default Front coilover conversion question

For those that have converted to front coilovers (like with the VAS brackets), what length shock did you go with? What length & rate spring? I'm pondering going this route on my reg cab short bed 5.0 with some QA1 coilovers, looking for any feedback from those that run this setup.

I'd be surprised if the majority of the folks that have made this change can answer your question. They are buying the recommended replacement that will achieve what they're after which is usually something that will help "level" the truck.

Has the manufacturer or the selling dealer been any help?

Sorry, I probably should have been more clear. These would be lowering coilovers. I spoke with VAS who said they would tell me the specs once I ordered the brackets. Fair enough I guess, but it makes it tough to plan out what this whole deal will cost (I have no desire to use Viking coilovers which is what they sell with the kits).
