Has anyone had a camera installed in the front of their truck to help out with parking. It’s very hard to judge the front of the truck. When I asked around it was very expensive if wired into the factory screen. Are there any other alternatives.

 

I just purchase a camera and monitor for my 2019, but it’s not yet installed. I’ve got yo locate a good wiring connection to wherein it’s on when the key is on. I am not well versed on high- tech new cars and their complex wiring harnesses Good luck!����

 

What did you buy, how much was it. I have a great place in Arizona for wiring. Can you post a link of what you bought.

 

I install a front camera system. I bought this system on amazon an mount the lcd to the top of my windshield and connected a on/off button and stuck it behind my rearview mirror for when I need it. I just tap the fuse box for power when the car start. If you just want to plug it into your cig lighter then you wont need the button. If the guy send you the wrong camera, ask for another one and he will ship for free. Make sure you email the seller and tell them you need a front camera or else everything will look reverse.

I am not even sure what the front factory cameras do and when they operate.
Parking the front against a wall is very tough for me.
Is it an option to add the front grille camera and when does it turn on? Under 5 MPH? Or is there a switch?
What are the 360 degree upgrade options?

 

If you want that option you might want to look at this. More then what I want to pay as I hardly use it now that I can gauge my truck distance.

Well......He may or may not. He sure DID NOT when I asked.
But the camera and display work well. When moving up to something close the fact the picture is reversed really does not matter for me anyway.

 

Damn the seller sent me 3 wrong one and 1 right one.
