Default Front camera mount

I'd like to change out my chrome Lariat grill. I see other aftermarket grills that have the spot for the camera cut out which is good. After reading around apparently there is a bracket for the camera that holds it in. Can I reuse the camera bracket that comes on my current grill and swap to the new grill.

Here is a pic of an ebay grill which will match my shadow black. You can see the cutout for the camera. Do I need a new camera mount?

I don’t know if you can transfer it from one grille to another. I do know that I bought an aftermarket grille that had the cutout, and I asked the body shop that had my truck for something unrelated if they could swap it out since they would have my original grille off anyway. They weren’t able to because the aftermarket didn’t have the mount. I was able to find an OEM takeoff on eBay that did the trick though. The back of the grille should look the one in these pictures

Wow I never saw your reply to this thread. Thank you! So those pictures you attached to the thread are of an OEM grill that have the mount needed? Thank you.

No worries. This site could definitely do a better job of notifying us of responses to our post comments. Yes, this is the picture of the back of an OEM grille w/ camera mount. The aftermarket grilles I’ve come across have the cutout for the camera, but zero in the way of any type of mounting or any other hardware on the back of the grille.
