The front camera in the grill on my F150 works sometimes and sometimes it just shows blue or black on the screen. It is random with no pattern. I am thinking it is a loose connection somewhere but I am not sure where to check without taking everything apart. Has anyone seen this issue before and have any advice?

 

Year and miles on truck? Any accidents in that area in the past? Any mods, like a different grille, that required messing with the camera? Typically, such malfunctions can be traced to one or more of those things. But yes, if you want to dive into it yourself, I'm almost sure you'd have to remove the grille at the very least, but wait to hear from somebody who can tell you for sure, since I haven't remove the grille myself. Want to, but haven't done it precisely because I fear messing something, like the feeble tabs . Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but this will 'bump' your thread . Good luck.

 

its a 2015 f150 platinum no wrecks the camera just started not working more than it does work when I put it in reverse or use the camera button on the dash
