Hey there, I have a 16 Lariat w/sports package and it doesn't have the black centerpiece on the front bumper like the image below. Is this an option ? Can't tell if its a plastic overlay or just paint/decal ? Anywhere I can order it ?

It's either custom paint or a wrap. Mine is being painted like that

 

That's how my '15 lariat came from the factory. I painted it red to match the rest of the (truck) bumper.

Trying to remember... seems it was originally painted to match the bars on the grill. I remember they had to sand it really well for the new paint to adhere properly.

 

15's that part was black 16's its body color.

You have two options, have the center bumper area wrapped in vinyl or have it painted.

 

I was assuming this was a change between '15 and '16 model years. My '16 Lariat Sport has the center piece of the front bumper painted to match as well, but I have seen many '15s (assuming they are '15s anyways) that have black in the center of the front bumper.

Personally I have always been kind of torn on which one looks better. From a distance (driving towards me) I really like the '15 sport being black all the way down the bumper. However, up close I think I'm partial to the '16. Either way you can't go wrong, IMO the Lariat Sports just look great.
