Fox 2.5 Coilovers
#22
Hey Guys,
Martian, thanks for tagging me, I hadn't seen this one. Here is my take on the 2.0s vs 2.5s. Ive run the 2.0s on my 15 ecoboost and the 2.5s I ran were on my 15 5.0L with the BDS 4 inch coil over lift. To me they might as well be different brands as they are very very different. The 2.0s were too soft for my style of driving, but they are a great upgrade to the stock hardware. The 2.5s you instantly notice that they ride stiffer on the road. The 2.5s can handle what ever you want to throw at them off road. I pushed the supercharged 5.0l very very hard off road, and never felt out of control.
In closing, I think its as simple as...
2.0s = Great street ride, 2 inches of leveling, good in light off road situations
2.5s = Stiffer street ride, More adjustable, Unbelievable high speed off road performance

#1. Minimum Level with 34-35" tires.
#2. Smooth/Soft/Cushy Ride for 99%+ City Driving.
#3. Best Value W/O Overkill ($$$).
My Delima.
I'm so stressed/burnt out trying to determine what is gonna work for me. I see Rancho on your site, quite a bit cheaper compared to Fox...Why?...Please explain what I'm getting extra with Fox VS Rancho (Or Brand X) if all I want is basically the Look + Soft Ride?

will do...I need to pick up my tires and wheels this weekend, then I'll get some drive time in and report back....so far just around the block a couple times, the truck had a more planted feel (if that makes sense)
