Will update later today. It was a full 1" high up front so they must have really been maxed out. They're adjusting it now and should be ready today.

Pretty much dead level now. Still feeling it out for ride quality since I only drove a few miles, but MUCH better ride. World of difference. They said it was set far too high.

Sorry I'm dumb when it comes to this stuff. I'm looking at getting the Fox 2.0 coilover and some places it says performance series ifp and other places it doesn't. Are they 2 different shocks? Or just different labeling from the seller?

fox has not updated the specs on this shock system from the 2014 trucks (carry same part numbers).


as the new trucks are 700lb lighter, most of that weight is also gone from the front end making the change from 14 - 15 up much bigger.


last I checked, 2.0 coilovers come with 650lb spring rates. my truck has 470lb springs and I don't want a super stiff ride. I actually ordered these in and when I saw them and learned a little more about them, I sold them before ever installing them.


the fox 2.0 require removal from the vehicle to adjust properly due to the single split ring lock adjustment, IMO. you cant fit a standard over the counter spring compressor in there either so no do it at home by yourself adjustments.


they are a poor upgrade and fox should be ashamed to sell. I have upgraded my truck with the 2.0 rears and they are satisfactory (carry a topper and the rear shocks are horrible so it isn't hard to improve on that, take one off and you'll see) does it ride like a magic carpet back there? nope. but the stockers are never going back!!!


the 2.5 series have been specially valved for the new trucks (new part numbers) and carry 550lb springs. A much better compromise. But double the price! So im still saving/looking for alternatives.


finally, the 2.0 springs rub on the body of the shock... need I say more.

Whats the rating for boss shocks? They are pretty reasonably priced and they are designed specifically for the f150.

I'm not sure where you guys are ordering your coilovers but if you get them from places like down south motorsports or SDHQ they will build your coilovers however you want them. Spring rate, valving, even color can all be changed.

I have a 2015 supercrew with 6 foot bed and the 5.0 engine. Also loaded with every option you can get on a lariat. I imagine it is heavier than most trucks. Do you still think the heavier spring rate on the Fox 2.0 would be too much?

Call DSM and have them build you a set of coilovers. If you are just leveling the truck you might be fine with a 550lb spring, if you want 2.5"-3" of lift then 600lb may be more appropriate, especially if you ever plan on adding a winch, skids, or aftermarket bumper. Here is there site. Buying from them also includes 1 free rebuild which is nice.

This still looks higher in the front than mine does with 2.0's. Looks like you're probably sitting around 2.5" of lift with your current setup.

2.0's on all 4 corners. Rides just fine to me
