While digging through dozens of threads in a search before asking a question, I found a thread from 2016 that had a mod that was interesting. It showed how to get USB power from the small storage area under the radio. The one in the console with the sliding door. Thread starter took the top off the console and ran power wire from the USB outlet to the a place next to the latch for the cover to the BIG storage space. I already had a hole in the back of the small storage area, so I went through that opening to under the cup holder. Small hole drilled there and inserted a grommet. Now I have phone power right next to my cup phone by Weather Tech. Pictures below show cover off and the power cord sticking out of the grommet. It is going to be great to have the cord hidden.
