Default Found Money... Sort of..

Help me be mildly distracted at work today!

Just found out I have some money coming in from work for an employee referral... I personally can't think of a better thing to do with it than "Add to Cart". I figure I have about $600 to spend. Since I got my truck 6 weeks ago I have only done Minor things

1) Antenna
2) Window Tint
3) Tuxedo X150 PRO
4) Center Console organizer

I am considering 1 of the following 2 upgrades but open to additional ideas (within budget)

1) Leveling kit - I am looking at the RC but open to others. I am being told it is about $400 installed and after the alignment, This would give me another $200 for something else (AMP Bed Step?)
2) Alpharex Pro Series headlights with LED upgrade (I think pending the LED's this may run me a little more.

Please note on the Level that for now I am going to keep stock wheels and tires 18' PVD rims and Goodyear Wrangler tires. I am coming into the winter so I want to keep this set up for at least now.

Any other ideas are appreciated!

For reference. 16 SCREW 5.5 501A Shadow Black with Chrome Appearance Package

I've tried putting LED's into aftermarket projectors that were designed for Halogen, and it never turns out good. Maybe if it is an LED that is adjustable after it is installed. I've had much better luck with HID in a halogen projector.

The ones from AlphaRex seem to be pretty goodhttps://alpharexusa.com/product-cate...onversion-kit/ . I have their Pro Series Headlights installed on my 15 XLT, still have halogen bulbs but I see fine. They may only be compatible with the AlphaRex headlights.

I've come to find that 99% of them are the same and in my experience what separates the brands are the warranty.. Try to stay with a lower wattage ballast to reduce heat

I've always had good experience with DDM Tunings ballasts, and when the bulbs burn out I just replace them with whatever is cheap on Amazon.

In my 2011 F150, the electrical system killed 3 sets of HIDs, and my LED fog lights started strobing terribly prior to selling it. I went back to halogen bulbs. My LED interior bulbs in the front started strobing as well, but the rear ones never did. I'm hoping I don't see the same issues with my 2018.

This is good info, I may not even want LED... Maybe it is worth it to do the level and the HID bulbs then later get the Alpharex housing and just move the bulbs over.

I was messaging them yesterday and it sounds like the housing dont even come with bulbs so I believe they are the same as the stock, but I would double check.

I've never personally shopped there. Seems to have decent reviews online. B+ on their BBB
